St. Andrew's has embarked on an ambitious plan to make all parts of the church accessible to people with impaired mobility. Plans were approved by the Village of New Paltz, and fund raising began in the autumn of 2002.   With a generous gift by Lorraine R. Daley in the name of her late husband George, a stairlift to the church was installed in the summer of 2005.  George Trigg generously funded the installation.

A belltower, shown below in the architect's rendering, will house a lift as well as an accessible rest room. With God's help, it will also include a bell or bells.
